How we support our volunteers

As a nonprofit we might not have much — but we help however we can

Smaller perks

MacBook, coworking space, and everyday things you no longer need to buy — TV, furniture, winter clothes, kitchen essentials, linens, towels, books etc.

Visibility

Employers/clients could see your tasks, accomplishments and our recommendation on Team page — all of which we are happy to share on socials.

Flexible commitment

Contribute part-time while focusing on job hunting. A couple hours a day. Quit whenever you like — a bit of a heads-up would be nice, though.

Learn on the job

No experience? No problem! We'll show you the ropes. Gain skills and improve through feedback, with our team always here to support you.

Leave your mark

Our revolving door of hosts and volunteers brings constant new ideas. You won't just help out, but shape the social life in Tallinn (and beyond).

Join our startup

We'd rather work together than conduct several rounds of job interviews. Volunteers who fit best will be among our first hires when we launch.

“We believe this could be the bridge between jobs that gives you an opportunity to stay in Estonia—and helps you land the next opportunity faster.”

Reference (by friend-expat)

Markus has a rare, genuine talent for bringing people together. I have seen it firsthand many times, and the way he connects strangers effortlessly is honestly impressive. He has a unique instinct for networking that feels natural rather than forced, and it's a big part of why Daily Meetups took off. On top of that, he's the kind of friend who always comes through when it matters. Anyone who meets him will immediately notice the mix of authenticity and drive.

Ever since Yumna joined Daily Meetups as our first employee three years ago, she has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Even as a volunteer with a packed schedule, Yumna is quick to reply at all times. She never fails to deliver actionable feedback, and has connected us with her many contacts in various organisations. I’m really happy for Yumna having established herself as a freelancer with various clients, such as myself, who are surely just as willing to pass on a strong recommendation.

Reference

I’m so glad to have met Tahir at Fraqmented coworking spaces as he’s completed the weekly tasks on time and our communication IRL/online has been great. Now that he’s helped us with SEO and some back-end functionality for the website, I'm looking forward to moving on to something more challenging. In the meantime, Tahir absolutely has the discipline to take on other projects. If you’re looking for a full-stack developer, I’ll bring you two together!
